Gilgamesh

The setting was The City of Uruk also the flat plains and distant mountains. The rising action is that everyone heard stories about the demon Humbaba who guarded the forests. He always sounded like a flood. The climax is that Gilgamesh and Enkido wanted to meet the demon Humbaba. They set out for their journey. The falling action is that they left the city of Uruk! The resolution is that they cut off the demons head!!Then they listened to tales of their great aventures.

The message of the story is to try to get people to be nice and kind to each other. That is what I think the message is.I also think the message to never loose hope.Because in the story Gilgamesh he never gave up and never lost hope. The good thing is that he did it for his friend and thats the best part.Ilove this story and it really gave me something to think about. As one can see that is what I think the message of the story.

I believe Gilgamesh is a hero because he was powerful. Also because he had the guts to stand up to the demon. He was also a hero because he wanted to become imortal to help his friend I think. He was such an amazing person.Gilgamesh was very powerful because of what he did.Gilgamesh was a big hero to everyone in Mesopotamia. As one can see that is why I think that Gilgamesh is a hero.

  2. Where is your supporting evidence to state the message of Gilgamesh is to be nice to each other. Dig deeper! Think of the death of Enkidu and how did Gilgamesh react?

P.S. a picture gets you extra credit!

  3. Stephanie you did a wonderful job. I loved the way you explained your reasons from your 3rd paragraph.I would also add that you should have used a picture like Mr. Garza said. Good Work!
