The Nile River would have to be the longest river in Egypt. It runs right through North of Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea. Ancient Egypt included two regions, the southern and northern regions. the southern was upper Egypt and the northern was lower Egypt. The Nile river brought life to Egypt and it allowed it to thrive. The Nile river flowed through rocky, hilly land south of Egypt. It caused cataracts, or rapids to form. As one can see the Nile river was the longest rive in Egypt.
